I have Dragon Dictation, and I love it...but you have to open the app each time, then tap more buttons on the screen to insert it into a text message, a twitter update, etc.

Has anyone come up with a jailbreak extensions that adds the functionality of Dragon Dictation natively to SMS, email etc?

The one thing I miss from my old Android phone.

Some are fun. Did you grow up on these? I think those of us who did, still get a kick out of the simplicity of them. I know there's a couple I would love to have for some casual play.

I started playing games in 1984 during the Crash. I grew up more on nintendo, but we had an atari in the house. I've gone back and played hundreds of Atari games over the years for a web site and I stand by my position that most of them are crap.

Some games like Adventure, Tempest, Ms. Pacman hold up pretty well, but they are the exception.

Great news for Apple as far as iOS implementation but comparing including iPod touch doesn't really seem like a fair comparison since Android isn't on any PMP devices.

So as it stands, correct me if I'm wrong, but:

    1. Mobile PHONES, Android > iOS
    2. Include tablets and PMP iOS > Android by a good margin

    Welp... Got Notes 7.02 today.

Visually, it looks "fatter". The fonts are more substantial. Almost bold in look. It also looks more "modern" if you will.. or more "mac-like".
The installer actually uses the default OS X installer. That's nice.
The whole BS "Lotus Notes" directory with all it's turds is replaced by a nice Notes.app applicaiton bundle. That's nice.
They added Safari as an option for URL handlers. That's nice.
It upgraded 6.5.x just fine, though I had moved my data directory to my home directory a while back, not sure (yet) how the upgrade will go if one's data directory still exists in the app's hierarchy.
It IS a Universal Binary! WooHoo!! That's REALLY nice!

It's still a carbon app. That's NOT nice. You'll notice the old MacOS watch icon. A sure sign of a carbonized app.
It still uses BinHex 4.0 as the default Mac attachment encoder. That's NOT nice.

I don't know how it handles emails with embeded java or HTML (I'm sure other users have experienced Notes crashes when reading some emails with HTML in them). Wait and see on that one.
It seems to be a bit faster, despite being a carbon app still. Wait and see on that one.

Did you put the CRT in upside down? I'm pretty sure the connectors will fit in one-way only.

(by the way, post a picture of this :D )

Ok, so it seems the developer has kick up a bit of furore on this one.. ;)

Personally, I don't mind paying the 1.79 again to buy Tweetie 2 - at the end of the day it hardly breaks the bank. I'm not disgusted by it because he needs to keep making money somehow. (Although it looks like this developer may now be quite well off, judging by its ranking in the Top Grossing list ;))

But I do get this underwhelming feeling when I use Tweeite 2 - as it seems others do - and I think this stems from a few things:

    1) In some ways, the new app is not 'better' than the first Tweetie - the UI is not so nice (an opinion), the speed is not so silky smooth (less of an opinion, bit more fact) and it doesn't even seem to do everything that Tweetie 1 did. In fact, I'm struggling to see - for my uses at least - what this version achieves that the first one didn't. And the implementation is not so nice either. What is the 'killer app' in version 2?

    2) The idea that it was built from the ground up again. As the developer puts it - "I didn't just add a feature and change the version number. That's lame." Problem is, Tweetie 1 did not have any flaws or shortcomings in its implementation and was silky smooth and fast, at least for me. Tweetie 2 doesn't quite deliver that, which is why I'm left disappointed.

    3) Tweetie 1 had 'wow' factor, Tweetie 2 doesn't.

    4) The new icon is horrible (a matter of opinion, of course ;))

    5) In deleting the first app from the store, Tweetie 1 has been end of life'd. Therefore, this version effectively stifles any upgrades to version 1, including any potential bug fixes.

    6) The new version is underwhelming (did I say that already? :D)

Of course, one advantage of declaring Tweetie 2 as a whole new app is that it does give me the freedom to 'downgrade' back to Tweetie 1!!! I know which version of the app will be sitting on my iPhone's front page...

I've decided I'm going to try it with the dock on the left for a change :) It's the new Ford Focus ST. BTW, the #1 site (imo) for car desktop backgrounds is Netcarshow (http://netcarshow.com), hands down. Nearly every current (and some old) make and model, all HQ. It's awesome.

Sorry, but black people using the n word is no better than any other ethnicity doing it.
You fail to understand the reason why it is used and the context behind it. Given that you've brought it up, I doubt my explanation will sway you.

12 Petabytes doesn't seem like all that much. I have a 2TB drive sitting on my desk, and this would be like 6,000 of my drives. Doesn't seem like that much when you think about the amount of customers they are likely to be serving.

Is that the car from back to the future? Those movies were great :)
